
Ronnie de Souza Santos, Ph.D.

Dr. Ronnie de Souza Santos is an emerging voice in software engineering and computer science. With almost 40 peer-reviewed papers published in leading software engineering international conferences and journals and over 470 academic citations, his research focuses on equity, diversity, and inclusion in software engineering; software development processes; software management; and software quality.
Dr. de Souza Santos is an Assistant Professor in Business Analytics at the Shannon School of Business, Cape Breton University. Before joining Cape Breton University, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Dalhousie University for two years.
In addition to his academic background, Dr. de Souza Santos is an experienced software practitioner who has specialized in software testing and software quality and has worked for over eight years in large software companies.
